• All benchtops and cupboard surfaces to be protected with a good quality, durable plastic material
• Flooring to also be covered with an inexpensive protective layer that can be disposed of at the end of the build
• Regular inspections of protective coverings to ensure that they have not been penetrated
• Make trades accountable for their actions during the build
